Pump It Up!

So for those of you not on the East Coast (or better yet, in the Roanoke area) we did get a little snow this holiday season. We had about three inches fall on Dec. 16th, which meant Scott and I got two snow days and started our Winter Break a little early. We wanted to take Addison out to play in the snow, but it ended up sleeting on top of the snow and just got really yucky outside. Then, on Christmas night, we got another two or three inches of snow, but we were under Heavy Wind warnings and it was just too cold and windy to get out and play. So we decided Addison needed something fun to do outside of the house. Scott and I figured we would check out this place called "Pump It Up." It's an indoor inflatable playhouse essentially, with lots of moonbounce kind of jungle gyms and slides. It was super fun for all three of us! Unfortunately, with all the local kids out of school, it was super packed with crazy munchkins. Addison was a little overwhelmed at first, but after a few minutes she quickly warmed up to it and wanted to try all the different slides and jungle gyms. It was a great way to keep her busy and burn some energy on a cold and windy day!
