Addison's Special Day

This past Saturday was a fun filled day for Addison. A friend of mine had told me about this Christmas display and Santa show at a local museum downtown called FantasyLand. So Addison's "Ganny" (aka Granny,) Aunt Erin, and I took her downtown to check out this so-called FantasyLand. It was a cute display and the Santa was very authentic (a real beard and everything!) Santa did a program of singing and story telling and then we had the opportunity to take a picture with Santa. As you can see below, Addison wasn't too sure about this Santa guy. But at least she wasn't screaming and crying. And her one request from Santa for Christmas was... Ice Cream!!! It's so easy to please a two year old!
Then after our Santa visit, Ganny wanted to treat Addison to a special lunch. So we decided to go to the greatest place on Earth for kids... Chuck E. Cheese's! We had lunch (really good pizza by the way,)and Addison got to play some games and ride some of the rides. She had a blast! Needless to say, after that very busy and exciting morning, Addison (and mommy) both needed naps. Enjoy the pics and keep your eyes open for new posts soon... it looks like we might get some snow this week (we are praying for a snow day!) and of course, Christmas is just right around the corner! Happy Holidays to all our friends and family!

Trying to get a picture with Addison this day was not an easy task!

Me and Addison trying to take a picture with the elves and reindeer.

Addison and Ganny with the toy soldier... still not thrilled about taking pictures.

Very intently listening to Santa's story.

Trying to grab ornaments!

A little unsure of the Santa guy... but at least we didn't have crying!

Addison loves slides!
