That's right, friends! We have FINALLY had Addison's hair cut for the first time. As you can see from the "before" pictures below, she was in desperate need of some hair care. She has been blessed with her mommy's curly/nappy hair, however her hair seems to only be growing in the back. The front and sides are growing so slow and the back got to be almost three inches past her neck, to where she most definitely had a quality, Southwest Virginia, mullet! So I broke down last week and took her to have her haircut thinking it would be the worst thing ever to try to get her to sit still and let someone comb her hair. Surprisingly, Addison did pretty well with it. She wasn't a fan of the lady spraying her hair down and getting her wet, but she held it together long enough to let the stylist do the cut. As you can see from the "after" pictures, it's a huge improvement! Now we just need to work on growing out all of her hair so we can use some hair bows and ponytails : )
