Summer Fun!

Yes, I know it's been quite a while since my last post. Whoever said that teachers get the summers off, obviously doesn't know the Weavers! We have been on the go since school let out on June 12th and we are just now starting to slow down. Scott went on a week long fishing adventure in Canada right after school ended and while he was doing that, Addison and I spent 10 days in Funchester (Winchester for all you non-locals out there!) I had to attend a workshop for school in Gaithersburg, Maryland for four of those days, so it worked out perfectly that Mom and my sisters could keep Addison while I was doing that. I also got to throw my best friend, Alison, a baby shower (her rugrat is due in August) and we got to catch up with lots of friends while we were there. However, spending 10 days at Grani Frani and Papaw Tater's had some consequences... when we returned home to Roanoke, Addison had quite a hard time getting adjusted to not being spoiled rotten all the time. She's just now getting back into her normal routine and realizing that she can't get away with everything when it's just Mom and Dad around. As if that wasn't enough to keep us busy, I've been working part time from home for a few weeks on some curriculum development for my school system, and of course, Scott has had weight training and conditioning for his football team three days a week. We also managed to squeeze in a nice date night for our third anniversary on June 30th, a small cookout for the Fourth of July, and a quick get together for cake and ice cream today for Scott's birthday. Of course, we can't forget the awesome new water park that opened in Roanoke this summer, which Addison is a huge fan of. We've been twice in two weeks and she has turned into an absolute fish! She has no fear of the water and now has a better tan than I do. Scott is on the go again this weekend, traveling to Virginia Beach for three days to watch one of his players compete in the Virginia State All-Star Game (a big honor for high school athletes.) Lucky for Addison and me, Auntie Em is coming to hang out with us for a few days while Scott is gone. We'll be heading to the Outer Banks at the end of next week to have the bi-annual Moore Clan Beach Trip... which should be a blast! It will be Addison's first time at the beach, so look for new pictures and video at the end of the month. I think that about catches everyone up on the Weaver Fam for now. Hope you enjoy some of the recent pictures below : )
Bathtime fun!

Addison had a pretty snazzy Fourth of July outfit.

All ready to go to the pool!

Hanging out with her favorite Winchester boyfriend, Camden.

Grani got this sweet Giraffe pool to play in (with Auntie Em of course) while we were in Funchester.
