The Weaver Family Webpage: Happy 1st Birthday!!

Well first of all, I have to say sorry for taking so long to get this up... I know a lot of you were waiting for the birthday and baptism pictures. I've been out of commission for a few days because a wicked flu bug hit the entire Weaver family (baby included) and even a few Pitotti's. It started with me on Tuesday and then Scott quickly got it, and of course, family shares everything so Addison ended up getting it as well. And since the Pitotti's were in town for the celebration weekend, Mom and Christine ended up getting sick too. Everyone is doing fine now, but it was a wicked 24 hour bug. Booo!
But anyway, the big news is our big girl is officially one year old now! Addison's birthday was on Sunday, Jan. 24th and boy did we have a birthday bash to celebrate! We started the day off at church where Addison was baptized. She actually did very well through the service and was the highlight of church that morning. Our little social butterfly was strutting her stuff up and down the aisle just waving to everyone during the morning greeting. After the church service, friends and family came back to our house to have brunch while the big girl took her nap. Then once she woke up, it was party time!!! We had lots of special guests that came to the party... all of the grandparents, two of Addison's aunts, lots of cousins and friends, her godfather Lee came all the way from Pennsylvania, and even Ash, Court, and Addison's boyfriend Camden made the trip down from Funchester. It was great to have so many people here to celebrate! Addison got some great birthday presents and had a blast showing off her special birthday dress! When it was time for the cake, she wasn't too sure what to do with it. She definitely liked licking the icing, but wasn't really into the actual cake part. Overall it was a great day and I think Addison had a wonderful time. It's hard to believe she is already a year old! Hope everyone enjoys the pictures below from the birthday weekend : )
