MAN, summer vacation needs to hurry up and get here! For those of you not on the East Coast, winter completely forgot to visit us this year, and we dove head first into spring back in January... warm weather, allergies, and all! For almost a month now we've been seeing temps in the 70s and today even into the 80s... which of course means we have been getting a little Spring Fever. The girls are loving having the warm weather and being able to play outside. We've managed to spend some time at the playground, have a picnic day, and of course Dadda has been able to get a lot of fishing time in. I'm enjoying getting back into my running routine outdoors and trying to somehow get a pre-baby body back before the beach trip in July... we'll see how that works out.
Since it's been a while since my last post, here's a quick recap on the recent Weaver happenings...
1) We put our house on the market about 6 weeks ago! Currently Scott and I commute 30 minutes each way to work and we just want to be closer to the high school we teach at and also get the girls in the school district we teach in. Say a little prayer that we can get it sold in this market!
2) The girls are growing like weeds! Addison had her 3 Year check up last month and was in the 85th percentile for her height (we've got a balla!) and the 70th for her weight. Avery is also proving to be quite a solid kid... at her 9 month check up she was in the 80th percentile for height and 60th for weight. At this pace, both of the girls will be taller than me by the time they enter middle school!
3) In addition to growing like a weed, Avery has also been growing ear infections like it's her job. She managed to get four of them in the span of four months, so I'm sure a lot of you seasoned parents know what happened next... yep, we got tubes! Avery had the tube surgery on Monday and was a trooper! She came out of anaesthesia a little groggy and wanting Mommy, but after a bottle and a quick nap, she was back to the 100% happy baby she's always been. I'm sure every parent thinks this, but I really do have the best baby on earth!
4)And finally, for those of you who don't know (you must be living under a rock), my second youngest sister Emily is expecting her first baby just about any day now. Technically she's due April 5th, but any day could be the day at this point. Oh and did I mention, this baby is a BOY! What in the world will the Pitotti's do with a BOY? After four daughters and two granddaughters, my parents (especiallly Papa) will certainly spoil this little prince rotten! Hurry up Baby Boy, we want to meet you!!
Keep a watch out for future posts... I'll alert everyone when Baby Boy finally makes his appearance : )
